New Delhi, Feb 15. The National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) was honoured by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for “Excellence in Financial Reporting” for the year 2020-2021 under the ‘service sector award’ category recently.
The award was presented by Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Earth Sciences; Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space. The award was received by Anil Kumar Jain, CEO NIXI along with GM (F).
As announced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), this honour was presented in recognition of the highest degree of compliance, statutory guidelines, regulations, and disclosures manifesting exemplary excellence in the presentation of financial statements.
On this occasion Mr Anil Kumar Jain, CEO NIXI said “effective financial reporting plays an integral role in accelerating the economic growth of the country as vivid and reliable financial statements assist the stakeholders and management in taking strategic decisions.”
