Mumbai, March 29. Ambuja Cements, one of the operating companies of Holcim India, has been rated as the top construction and infrastructure company to work for, in Business Today’s “Best Companies To Work For” survey, said a press release of Ambuja Cements. ACC which is also one of Holcim India’s operating companies is placed second in the survey.

Ambuja Cements has constantly worked to improve employee learning and development activities through programmes like Super Assisted Intelligent Learning platform, which helped to foster a technology-driven learning experience for its employees during the pandemic. Further, Ambuja Cements has been nurturing talents through Holcim India’s initiative, “People for Tomorrow”, which helps to identify leading talent at its plants, close competency gaps and manage succession, said the company communique.
The survey ranked companies across sectors that define their purpose, core values and mission to its people. Companies were also judged on creating an inclusive, enabling environment for them to achieve the best for themselves and for the organisations.
ACC second
Meanwhile, ACC Limited, one of India’s most sustainable and innovative building materials companies, got the second rank in the “Best Companies To Work For” Survey. This is the second time the cement maker has been accorded this special recognition for creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workplace. ACC was ranked among India’s Coolest Workplaces last year.
